Discover the beauty and traditions of Japan through a series of hands-on cultural experiences.

Join us for a Japanese Cultural Experience session and enjoy an authentic introduction to Japanese traditions in a friendly and interactive setting.

Dates:

Tuesday, September 29 & Wednesday, September 30, 2026

Venue:

within the Kyoto International Conference Center

Duration:

45 minutes per session

Sessions:

3 sessions per day for each experience

– Morning Coffee Break

– Lunch Break

– Afternoon Coffee Break

Maximum Capacity:

8 to 15 participants per session

Fee:

EUR 35 (approx. JPY6,500) per person, per session

*Registration for SICOT2026 is required to participate in the Japanese Cultural Experience.

Tea Ceremony

Experience the elegance and mindfulness of the traditional Japanese tea ceremony.

Origami&Furoshiki Workshop

Discover the art of paper folding and learn how to use furoshiki, the traditional Japanese wrapping cloth.

Japanese Calligraphy

Learn the basics of Japanese calligraphy and create your own beautiful piece of artwork.

Please register using the Registration Link provided in the session table below.

After we receive your registration, a payment link will be sent to you by email from sicot2026@congre.co.jp.

*Your registration will be confirmed once payment has been completed.

Payment method:

Credit card only.

Registration Limit:

Each participant may register for one session of each experience, with a maximum of three sessions in total.

*Please make sure that your selected sessions do not overlap in time when registering.

Registration Deadline:

Deadline Extended until 26 September 23:59 Kyoto Time

*Registration may close before the registration deadline once the maximum capacity is reached.
